Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kade Mosig is using teammate Jay Marmont as the benchmark while preparing for the 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals series.

Mosig is shaping up for his national debut with Kawasaki after a promising season as a privateer last year, revealing that his recent time on track with Marmont should help him peak for the series opener.

In an all-new exclusive column for MotoOnline titled ‘Kade’s Korner’, Mosig spoke about his pre-season form aboard the KX250F.

“I decided to work my way up to NSW, do some riding around the Sydney and Wollongong regions,” Mosig wrote. “I’ve been riding with my teammate Jay Marmont, which has been good because he’s sort of been helping me with my riding.

“It’s just good to practice with someone who’s obviously going really, really fast, so it helps me out every time I go out practicing.”
