Strong to unveil brand new trick at Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix

Australia’s Jackson Strong will unveil a never before seen jump to the world's media at the 2012 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne this weekend.

Australian Jackson Strong will make headlines this weekend at the Formula 1 GP.

The man who pioneered front-flipping a motorcycle, Australia’s Jackson Strong will unveil a never before seen jump to the world’s media at the 2012 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne this weekend.

After spending the past week assisting his flood-ridden neighbours in Lockhart near Wagga Wagga, 20 year-old Jackson ‘Jacko’ Strong will head to the Australian Grand Prix with a brand new death-defying trick in his arsenal.

The young Australian beat the world’s best FMX riders to the ‘Best Trick’ gold medal at last years X Games, landing the first ever front-flip in competition.

Melbourne’s Albert Park will play host to the inaugural Crusty Demons Cup, which will see some of the world’s best FMX riders vie for a prize pool of $50,000.

“I’m getting ready to head to the Crusty Cup tomorrow and I’m starting to get chills running down my spine thinking about what the ‘Best trick’ category is going to hold,” Strong said.

“I have a brand new trick that I am going to unveil which I landed to dirt yesterday. No one has ever done this trick before.

“I wanted to bring something new to the table so stay tuned – the ‘Bullet Proof Tiger’ will be out of the bag soon,” Strong concluded.

The Crusty Demons Cup will run over the four days of the 2012 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix culminating in a Sunday night finale where nine riders will go head-to-head in a massive FMX battle for Best Trick, Best Whip and Best Combo.
