New athletes confirmed by Monster Energy for Australian motocross

Monster Energy has signed a total of eight riders on various levels for the 2012 Australian motocross and supercross season.

Monster Energy has signed a total of eight riders on various levels for the 2012 Australian motocross and supercross season, continuing its support of the sport on a domestic level.

The leading energy drink company will continue its title sponsorship of the factory Monster Energy Kawasaki team, including riders Jay Marmont, Billy Mackenzie and Kade Mosig for this year.

Longtime Monster athlete Ben Townley will wear a Monster helmet this season once again as part of the Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing team, while his teammates Brad Anderson and Ford Dale have also gained backing from Monster.

Current Under 19s MX Nationals and Supercross Champion Errol Willis is a brand new member of the ‘Monster Army’ this season as he steps up to the Pro Lites for Raceline Pirelli Suzuki.

Female national champion Megan Rutledge has also gained support from Monster, completing the brand’s line-up of first class athletes for the 2012 season in Australia.
