Mosig impressed with Monster Kawasaki after test debut in Queensland

Victorian Kade Mosig is impressed with Monster Energy Kawasaki so far.

New Monster Energy Kawasaki signing Kade Mosig says he’s impressed with the team’s factory KX250F after debuting the bike in Queensland last week.

The 21-year-old will ride Pro Lites for Kawasaki’s factory team in 2012, coming off a strong season in the MX Nationals where he finished as top privateer for Craig Anderson’s Berry Sweet Strawberries/Lucas Oil Honda team.

Mosig was forced out of Super X due to a string of post-MX injuries, however he’s now back to 100 percent and enjoying his new program with Kawasaki.

“We started off last week and have done a couple of days testing,” Mosig told MotoOnline. “My first impression of the bike is that I was really, really impressed, even surprised with how it handled straight up.

“Obviously I’m just adjusting to it at the moment, but in just a few days we’ve made huge progress with the bike from an already good setting. It’s getting better and better.

“The whole team is really good to work with. My mechanic Ian is really switched on and working with Troy [Carroll] is great. He’s a great team manager and the way he runs the ship is the right way to do it.”

“I’m just excited to get racing!”

Stay tuned for a full ‘Catching Up’ interview with Mosig to be posted on MotoOnline.
