Mosig confirms Monster Energy Kawasaki Pro Lites seat for 2012

Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed Kade Mosig for its Lites bike in 2012.

Victorian Kade Mosig has confirmed that he’s riding for Monster Energy Kawasaki in 2012 as the team’s lone Pro Lites contender.

Coming off a strong year in the MX Nationals as the Lites rider in Craig Anderson’s Berry Sweet Strawberries/Lucas Oil Honda team, Mosig will return to the factory ranks next year both in the outdoors and supercross.

“The rumour’s true and I’m really, really excited to start with the team,” Mosig said. “I’m back on a factory bike, which is awesome, because the last couple of years have been hard for me as a privateer.

“But yeah, back on it and I’m really pumped to start with the team. I’ll be in both supercross and motocross.”

Mosig was forced to skip the Super X season this year after suffering a broken collarbone right before the season commenced.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Troy Carroll also confirmed the signing of Billy Mackenzie and Mosig, but admitted that a deal has not yet been clinched with Jay Marmont.

“We’ve definitely got Mackenzie and Mosig, but we haven’t got Marmont yet – he hasn’t signed the deal,” Carroll said. “Hopefully if all things go right we will have that deal signed and we’ll be able to go move forward for next year.”
