The heat races have been completed in Maitland’s fourth round of the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship.

Heat one of the Pro Lites was won by JDR Motorex KTM’s Matt Moss, almost five seconds ahead of Luke Arbon (GYTR Rockstar Energy Yamaha) and Steven Clarke (Motul Pirelli Suzuki). Series leader Harrison was fourth.

The second heat was topped by American guest Gavin Faith (Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing), with Adam Monea (Team 07 Axis Motorsports Honda) and Jackson Richardson completing the podium.

Red plate holder Tye Simmonds won the opening heat of the Pro Open class for JDR Motorex KTM, winning from Chris Blose (Hart and Huntington/InsureMyRide) and Simmonds’ teammate Dan Reardon.

The final pro heat of the afternoon was a spectacular one, with Jay Marmont (CDR Rockstar Energy Yamaha) battling with Todd Waters before they went down together on the final lap.

That handed the win to Lawson Bopping (Raceline Pirelli Suzuki), which was his third heat win of the year, from Billy Mackenzie (Monster Kawasaki) and Cody Mackie (Team 07 Axis Motorsports Honda).

Waters rebounded to fourth, followed directly by Marmont as the pair rounded out the top five.
