The 29th Supercross of Bercy, fueled by Monster Energy, was won by American Kyle Chisholm over the weekend, crowned the new King of Bercy on Sunday night in Paris, France.

Without a ride for next year, Chisholm rode a privateer Yamaha to victory with a consistent performance of 2-1-3 results across the three nights of competition.

Close behind Chisholm was GEICO Powersports Honda’s Eli Tomac, who scored 1-2-5 results to barely miss out on the overall.

Americans dominated the event as Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer rounded out the podium with an 3-11-2 scorecard. He tied with Mike Alessi for the position, but got the final podium placing thanks to his result on Sunday night.

Top European for the event was Cédric Soubeyras, the Frenchman scoring fifth overall with 7-5-9 finishes.

Defending King of Bercy Barcia ended up ninth overall, failing to finish Friday night with a broken wheel after an incident, and then he was involved in a crash and then a heated argument with Kawasaki rider Greg Aranda on Saturday.

Barcia didn’t take part in the main event after the argument, but bounced back to win on Sunday despite considerable boos from French fans.
