A three-man Pro Lites squad from JDR Motorex KTM will enter the Monster Energy Super X series this Saturday night with a strong inner-team rivalry as the three Pro Lites riders get set to contend for the title.

Led by this year’s MX Nationals champion Matt Moss, who’s already signed to head to America next year, Moss wants to prove his might with a third Super X title at home.

“I’ve been feeling really good on my bike and everything has been going to plan,” 23-year-old Moss said. “I feel really, really good, so I’m looking forward to it.

“I just want to clinch that supercross championship and add it to the motocross title we won earlier this year.”

A real title challenge could come from within Moss’ team in 19-year-old Victorian Josh Cachia, who has recently spent time in the States preparing for the season ahead.

“I took a trip to America for a month with the team, just to see how it all works over there,” Cachia said. “It was a great experience and definitely came out of there with more speed.

“I’m coming into Super X confident with my team and bike, so I don’t see why we can’t score good results.”

Completing the team’s Pro Lites line-up is Queenslander Brenden Harrison, the 22-year-old continuing to gain form and experience following a strong outdoor campaign.

A solid pre-season has set the platform for Harrison to battle up front throughout Super X in 2011.

“I’ve been working really hard and everything has been coming together really well,” Harrison said. “I can’t wait to see where I end up at the end of round five.

“I’m just going to focus on what I can do, prepare the best I can for each race, and I’m sure that will put me in a good position at the end of the series.”

JDR Motorex KTM wrapped up the Super X series in the Lites class last year with American PJ Larsen.
