Reardon declares full fitness for the upcoming season of Super X

Dan Reardon is confident that Super X will be an opportunity to turn his season around.

Former Australian Supercross Champion Dan Reardon has declared himself fit and healthy ahead of this Saturday night’s Monster Energy Super X opener at Melbourne Knights Stadium.

Coming off an injury-plagued season outdoors on debut with JDR Motorex KTM, he’s certain that Super X will be an opportunity to turn his year around.

“I love the 450 and the bike really suits me,” Reardon said. “My preparation has been really good, which is important with such a short series.

“Motocross was a bit of a disaster for me, but now I feel good and my health is back to 100 percent.”

Reardon finished runner-up in the 2009 Super X series, and will enter this year’s series with the championship as his main objective.

“I enjoyed racing [Chad] Reed, had some good races, had some bad races,” Reardon added. “I look at this year as any other year, regardless who’s racing. I can only do what I can as far as preparation goes, so I feel good within myself and the team.

“I’m looking forward to coming out swinging on Saturday night.”
