X Games gold medalist Blake 'Bilko' Williams will be at Melbourne's Super X opener.

One of the world’s best FMX riders, Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, has just confirmed he will be performing in the Monster Energy FMX demo at this Saturday’s Australasian Supercross Championship event in Melbourne.

Bilko has never been one to miss an opportunity to ride in front of a home crowd and is looking forward to his first performance since the knee injury that kept him out of X Games this year.

“This has been a real last minute decision, but I am feeling good and ready to ride so I couldn’t pass up the chance to ride with my buddies in front of a Melbourne crowd at the Monster Energy Super X this weekend. I can’t think of a better way to get back into it!” said Bilko.

Bilko will join the Monster Energy Kawasaki FMX team at the Melbourne Knights Stadium for the demo, which will complement the action packed supercross racing that is sure to unfold at the series opener.

There will be more racing action than ever before with the all new Pit Bike Cup, Club Challenge and Under 19s in addition to the battle for supremacy in the Open, Lites and Michelin Development Series.

The Melbourne Monster Energy Super X round will feature the Double Header final format, which pits riders against each other in two x 10 laps for the Open class and two x 8 laps in the Lites.

The weather is looking great for racing so make sure you grab your tickets now through www.ticketdirect.com.au, with all new, more affordable prices, starting from $19 (plus booking fee).
