Chad Reed unveiled his Team Australia gear at Pala over the weekend.

Chad Reed has unveiled the special one-off gear that he’ll wear for Team Australia at the FIM Motocross of Nations in France this weekend.

The TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing team owner/rider received delivery of the green and gold attire from Shift last weekend at Pala Raceway, giving fans on Twitter a sneak peak of how he’ll look come race day at the MXoN.

Reed will spearhead the team as Australia’s MX1 rider in his return to the MXoN, joined by Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Brett Metcalfe and JDR Motorsports’ KTM’s Matt Moss in Open and MX2 respectively.

Reed wrapped up third in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship on Saturday in California with seventh overall at the season finale, while Metcalfe raced to fourth in the series and the round.

Meanwhile, Moss has been training in the U.S. over the past month in a bid to prepare for the MXoN event, recently wrapping up his second Pro Lites Australian Motocross Championship in the MX Nationals.

The team sets up Australia for its best chance yet at a podium against the world’s leading motocross countries, according to many industry experts.

Stay tuned to MotoOnline.com.au this week for a special edition of ‘The Point’ feature, where we ask Reed, Metcalfe, Michael Byrne and Tye Simmonds what Australia’s expectations should be for the MXoN.
