Three time Canadian national champion Colton Facciotti has been given the call up to ride Christian Craig’s Troy Lee Designs Lucas Oil Honda CRF450R after Southwick saw Craig back on the sidelines with injury.

After heading south to Massachusetts off his own back to post an impressive fifth place in moto one at Southwick, and after seeing not only his raw speed and aggression, but also his hunger to make it in the big time, team owner Troy Lee has decided to employ the Canadian to finish out the last two rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championships with the TLD squad.

“I’m looking forward to the last couple rounds and seeing how Colton can do,” said Lee.

“I love to see a kid that is hungry to make it happen and I see that fire in him. I think he is going to surprise a lot of people who haven’t followed his career. The kid is fast.”

Facciotti echoed the excitement after taking the TLD ride.

“I’m pumped to get the opportunity to ride for TLD,” Facciotti exclaimed.

“It’s always been a dream of mine since I was little to get on one of the elite teams in the US and hopefully I can do them proud and get some good results.”

Look for Facciotti to make his debut with Troy Lee Designs Lucas Oil Honda in the 450 class this weekend at the Steel City national.
