Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing team boss Yarrive Konsky has revealed to MotoOnline.com.au that the team is currently searching for a Pro Lites rider to contest the 2011 Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship.

Konsky has been in the United States on a working vacation in recent weeks, also looking at numerous options for his team to battle for the Lites class title during Super X this season.

“We do have some CRF250s that we will be racing for Super X and I’ve been speaking to people while I’m here,” Konsky told MotoOnline late last week. “We’re just working on the details at this point before we hope to confirm a rider.”

The Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing team will field both Cheyne Boyd and Todd Waters in the Pro Open class this season, already commencing testing almost directly following the MX Nationals season finale at Coolum late last month.

It’s expected the team’s Pro Lites rider will almost certainly be from the U.S, most likely with experience on the Honda throughout this season to date.
