MotoOnline.com.au has carried out testing of Australia’s premier Pro Open class MX Nationals contenders in a series of in-depth tests this week.

After a mega year that saw the website attend each and every round of the MX Nationals series with leading coverage and films from the events, the year has been wrapped up with an exclusive test on each of the series’ Japanese factory rides.

Tuesday saw MotoOnline.com.au head to Toowoomba in Queensland at Monster Energy Kawasaki, where we had Pro Open privateer Aden de Jager test Dean Ferris’ factory KX450F at one of the team’s test tracks.

Yesterday featured a test day at Barrabool with the CDR Rockstar Energy Drink Yamaha team, where we rode both Jay Marmont and Josh Coppins’ factory YZ450F race bikes with Ross Beaton as the test rider.

Our week on tour wrapped up today with a number of sessions aboard Todd Waters’ factory Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing CRF450R at a private track near Wonthaggi with Adam Monea on board.

In the coming weeks we’ll also lock in Cody Cooper’s factory Rockstar Motul Suzuki RM-Z450, with a very special guest and former national champion in line to join us for that one!

Stay tuned tomorrow, 12 August, for the full Race Test on the Yamahas, as well as a film to get the post-season coverage underway.
