Tickets to the 2011 Monster Energy Super X series will go on sale this Sunday, 14 August.

The five round series kicks off with its first ever event in Melbourne on Saturday, 22 October, before heading to Wollongong on 29 October, Sydney (Campbelltown) on 5 November, the Hunter Valley (Maitland) on 12 November and concluding in South East Queensland (Ipswich) on Saturday, 19 November.

Great value tickets will be available through www.superx.com.au with all new more affordable prices starting from $19 (plus booking fee).

In a first for the series, this year the Monster Energy Super X will run an under 19’s class in addition to the Pro Open, Pro Lites and Michelin Development Series (for riders aged 14 and 15).

Managing director of Global Action Sports, Michael Porra, said the new class was in response to the huge number of talented young supercross riders in the country.

“The sport of supercross continues to grow in Australia and Super X is committed to supporting this growth by offering invaluable racing experience on international standard tracks to our future stars of the sport,” he said.
