There are three team places – MX1, MX2 and Open – and the maximum age for the MX2 class riders is 23 years, meaning riders born between 1 January 1988 and 16 September 1996 are eligible for selection.

Forms can be downloaded from www.ma.org.au/forms and applications close on Monday, 8 August.

Completed forms should be sent to:

The team manager will once again be Gary Benn, and the time away will be around eight days, with travelling dates still to be confirmed.

Last year’s team consisted of Brett Metcalfe, Jay Marmont and Dean Ferris, although it’s anticipated that Chad Reed will return this season after a dream debut year as team owner/rider in the U.S.
