Honda continues support of Australian Junior Motocross Championship

Honda has continued to support junior motocross riders, becoming the naming rights sponsor once again for the 2011 Honda Australian Junior Motocross Championship.

The 2011 event will kick off at Murray Bridge, South Australia, on 1-8 October and will be hosted by the Murray Bridge Sporting Car and Motorcycle Club at the Monarto Motocross Track.

Showcasing the best of Australia’s Junior Motocross talent, the event has long been the stomping ground of former Aussie champions.

Speaking of Honda’s continued sponsorship, general manager of the Murray Bridge facility, Tim McAvaney, said it was great to see Honda continue their support and was looking forward to a successful event.

“The Murray Bridge Club is excited to have Honda on Board as the naming rights sponsor,” McAvaney said. “This event looks set to be the biggest Junior Nationals in recent history and we thank Honda for attaching their name to such an event.”

Honda’s general manager, Motorcycles, Tony Hinton, said that he was looking forward to the event this year.

“Honda Australia is very much looking forward to their eleventh year as the naming rights sponsor for the Junior National Motocross Titles,” Hinton said. “We value our involvement as we are serious about supporting the sport at the development level.

“The young riders and their families put in a lot of hard work and passion into an event like this and Honda Australia is pleased to be able to assist them reach their goals.

“We are sure there will be a large contingent of Honda fans at Murray Bridge to show their support to the kids.”
