Addison set for MX Nationals comeback at Moree and Coolum

Michael Addison will make his return to the MX Nationals at Moree and Coolum.

Michael Addison will make his return to the MX Nationals at Moree and Coolum.

Current Western Australian State Championship leader Michael Addison will make a comeback to the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals in the final two rounds of the 2011 season.

Addison, who moved home to WA this season after a number of years based on the east coast, will rejoin the Team 07 Axis Motorsports squad on a CRF450R in the Pro Open category.

“I never really wanted to cease racing at a national Level, but being based on the east coast wasn’t the best fit for me,” Addison explained.

“The move back to my home town with my new wife AJ has been a positive one and allows me a schedule with enough flexibility to race and train at a national level.”

Addison will join the ever-expanding Axis line-up alongside Pro Lites contenders Cody Mackie, Kieron Hall and Justin McDonald, plus Under 19s hope Dylan Peterson.

Last year saw Addison finish 11th in the Pro Lites championship, scoring a single moto win at Moree.

The penultimate round of the MX Nationals will take place at Moree in New South Wales on Sunday, 24 July.
