CDR Rockstar Energy Yamaha's Jay Marmont knows he needs more race wins if he's to seal title number four.

CDR Rockstar Energy Yamaha’s Jay Marmont has admitted that he needs to continue his recent win-streak if he’s to challenge for a fourth straight Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals title.

Marmont won the most recent round at Coonabarabran in what has been a dream month for the 28-year-old, and he’s hoping to keep that momentum flowing into round six at Wodonga in Victoria this weekend.

“Winning at Coonabarabran was just what I needed to get my season back on track and get a reward for the hard work myself and the team have put in,” the Wollongong resident said.

“But, if I want to regain this championship in 2011, I have to continue winning races and be prepared to fight right down to the last corner of the last lap in every race we have left.”

Marmont now sits 54 points off series leader Dean Ferris in the championship, with just three rounds remaining in 2011 – including Coolum’s double-header that will form the season finale.
