Queenslander Robbie Marshall is hoping better starts will boost his chances of a top 10 finish.

Advanti Motorex Coastal KTM’s Robbie Marshall has taken positives from his 14th place finish at the Murray Bridge round of the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals, looking to capitalise on that confidence at Toowoomba this weekend.

Marshall finished with 18-15-15-12 results aboard the 450 SX-F in South Australia after qualifying 18th, hopeful that his fitness and bike will continue improving as the season progresses.

“I’ve taken away some positives from the weekend,” he said. “We got my bike working a lot better throughout the day and my fitness has improved a lot since the last round.”

Now, Marshall is hoping a strong start will boost his chances to break into the top 10 as the halfway point of the series approaches.

“I feel like I just need that one good start and a finish in the top 10 to get the ball rolling,” he added. “Hopefully at Toowoomba I can make it happen and make good use out of the rest of the series that’s left.”

Marshall currently sits 16th in the series following four of nine rounds contested to date.
