Craig Anderson has been ruled out of this weekend's MX Nationals round in South Australia.

Team Berry Sweet Strawberries/Lucas Oil Honda owner/rider Craig Anderson has been ruled out of this weekend’s Murray Bridge round of the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals in South Australia.

The multiple-time Australian champion suffered a grade two separation of his right AC joint while practicing at home recently, putting him out of action for the fourth round of season 2011.

“I was going into a turn and didn’t realise a had a flat front tyre,” Anderson explained. “It must have happened right before I turned in and then I went down hard. I’ll miss this weekend’s race, but hopefully will be back for Toowoomba at the end of the month.”

Replacing Anderson on the team’s CRF450R this weekend will be Victorian Adam Monea, who has been training at Anderson’s since the incident for his return to national racing.

Another new addition to the Berry Sweet Strawberries/Lucas Oil Honda squad in South Australia will be new Under 19s rider Jake Vella, who joins the team for the first time this weekend.
