Australia’s most successful female off-road rider and multiple Australian champion Alison Parker has confirmed that she will contest her 10th consecutive Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE) in Mackay, Queensland next month.

Parker will will steer her new Yamaha WR450F in the event, and she looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead.

“I love the A4DE. It is always such a great race. I have had a lot of success in this event, being the fastest female in my first eight years, then finishing on the podium last year,” Parker said.

“I am very motivated to round out the decade with another Australian championship.”

Enduro is not the only motorcycle discipline in which Parker will be pursuing championships in 2011. The conscientious rider plans on competing in the Australian Motocross and Trials championships as well.

“As long as the events don’t clash, I plan to be there,” she added. “I’ve had a lot of success with motocross in the past, with podium finishes and Australian representative rides.

“I started my trials career last week as the second placed female behind Australian champion Kristie McKinnon in the Tasmanian Trials Championships, which has fuelled excitement for getting involved in the national Trials scene”.

Parker is also available for coaching and can be contacted via www.awed.com.au.
