The future of Dan Stauffer has become clear, confirmed to be contesting the FX Superbike category in the Australian Formula Xtreme series this season.

Stauffer will campaign an 1198S for DGS Ducati, formerly known as Fraser Brothers Racing (FBR), and looks forward to the challenge ahead.

“I am really looking forward to riding the Ducati this year as the team are working really hard to get everything ready,” Stauffer commented. “I think this will be a good year for us at DGS Ducati.”

For Stauffer it marks his first full season aboard the 1198 twin-cylinder, coming off a development year with Aprilia’s RSV4 in the ASBK with Trinder Brothers Racing in 2010.

The team will contest the FX series in both FX Superbike and Formula OZ classes, with Michael Fraser set to ride a Ducati 1098R in Formula OZ.

Backing will come from DGS Drilling and Grouting Services, Lovett’s Earthmoving and Corse Engineering, the team receiving technical support from Michael and Robert Fraser, plus Nigel Pitsch, during the season.
