The highly anticipated Honda CBR250R will be available in dealerships at the end of March.

Expected to be a competitive player in the marketplace, the CBR250R standard model will retail at $5,490 and the ABS model at $5,990*.

To celebrate the release of this exciting model, Honda is offering a free first service on all CBR250Rs purchased between release date and 31 May 2011 (terms and conditions apply).

The much hyped about supersports-inspired model is expected to take off as an entry level model but also offer an appealing option for experienced riders.

Designed around an all-new 249.4mm single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, an efficient four-valve DOHC cylinder head and PGM-FI fuel injection the CBR250R shows off originality that only Honda is capable of.

Incorporating a sporty form with functional viewpoint this distinctive model boasts ease of use, a comfortable riding position and excellent handling performance.

The CBR250R uses a six-speed transmission to make light work of riding at any speed with the six ratios working with the bike’s power delivery to optimise acceleration and deliver both refinement and economy when cruising.

The incorporation of Combined ABS is a world first for a 250cc-class road sports model and places the CBR250R at the forefront of safety technology.

Both models are available in Asteroid Black Metallic and Red/Silver, in addition the standard model is also available in Pearl Blue Tri Colour.
