Kawasaki's new 2011 model ZX-10R is now available in Australian dealerships.

Kawasak’s all-new 2011 model Ninja ZX-10R ABS is now available at Kawasaki dealerships throughout Australia following a slight delay in its release.

It was revealed by Kawasaki in the U.S. last week that the sales hold resulted from a finding that indicated possible surging of the intake valve spring when the unit is operated under unique riding conditions, such as on a racetrack.

The surge could cause the intake valve to seat improperly, resulting in poor engine performance. The camshaft, valve springs, and spring retainers have been replaced on those models to prevent the valves from surging, without affecting engine performance.

Loaded with the very latest technological advancements in motorcycle engineering and backed up with phenomenal class leading power, the all new 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS is arguably the most anticipated motorcycle release of 2011.

Featuring a new engine, new frame and new suspension, Kawasaki’s newest litre-bike flagship represents the first complete redesign since the Ninja ZX-10R’s debut, and offers a significant jump in base performance.

Designed to enable a greater number of riders to experience the thrill of riding a superbike at the limit, the new Ninja ZX-10R is loaded with cutting-edge technology.

New features like Kawasaki’s new race-type traction control system (S-KTRC) and supersport-grade ABS (KIBS) are there to assist riders explore the limit.

Available in either Lime Green or Ebony, the all new 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS is available now at the RRP of $19,999.
