The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team rider will return home to the United States with the Super X title this week after a three-month stint in Australia, proud of his performance during the season.

“I’m stoked – it’s sick,” Hansen commented. “Australia has been good. To be able to have Kawasaki and Monster Energy back me so I can be here has been awesome.

“I’m pumped to win and it’s sad that I’ve got to leave. If everything goes to plan, I’ll be back next year.”

Hansen finished on the podium in six out of the seven rounds contested since mid-October, winning both the Auckland and Dunedin rounds in New Zealand before capping his season off with a victory in Brisbane’s finale on Saturday night.
