American Kevin Windham won the Genoa Supercross in Italy over the weekend, the experienced AMA number two adding the result to his Canberra Super X victory he scored last month.

Windham went 1-1 and has some help as two of his biggest rivals Justin Barcia and Jeremy McGrath crashed out of the program early, according to MXlarge’s Geoff Meyer.

FIM World Motocross Champion Antonio Cairoli finished with 4-7 results, but was well up in the second moto until dropping down the finishing order.

European rider Gautier Paulin finished second overall with 2-2 results, while the podium was completed by Alexandre Rouis.
