Italian Antonio Cairoli will wear AXO in 2010 alongside KTM teammate Max Nagl.

AXO Sport has announced that it and the Red Bull KTM MX1 Factory Racing Team have signed a two-years deal which will see four times world champion Antonio Cairoli and German star Maximilian Nagl wearing AXO gear from 2011.

Cairoli and Nagl will go for their mission wearing the Nickel pants, the Pistol Jersey and the brand new Padlock glove, which represent AXO’s top gear.

The ‘Slip Fit’ system of the pants, the 100% lightweight polyester construction and the fully sublimated graphics of the jersey and the all new ‘Over the Top GOLF’ closure of the gloves, places AXO at the forefront of innovation, one of the leaders in construction and setting the trends in fit and function.

“Our commitment to the motorsport in general and to motocross in particular has finally turned out in this prestigious collaboration,” Valentina Zago, president of AXO Sport. “The AXO staff is pleased to welcome Tony and Max and the whole Red Bull KTM MX1 Factory Racing Team.

“We have already been working with Claudio De Carli some years ago and I am sure that his professionalism, his long experience in the field, combined with Tony’s and Max’ great performances, will bring us a lot of success. AXO won its last MX1 World Title in 2007 and we are looking forward to repeat this fantastic experience.”

Claudio De Carli, Red Bull KTM MX1 Factory Racing team manager, is proud to have the deal finalised with AXO.

“We are honoured and happy to come back to work with AXO from next season,” he said. “AXO is a top-level brand to partner with in our racing efforts and their passion for motocross is well known. We would like to thank Valentina Zago for this opportunity and we wish to reach great results together.”
