16 races took place throughout the day with more than 450 bikes carving up the circuit.

Queenslander Jacob Wright took line honours in the 200-250cc 4 stroke 15 years class, while Queenslander Joel Dinsdale was victorious in the 13 to Under 15 years age group as female rider, and Picton (NSW) local, Meghan Rutledge managed an impressive 18th place against the guys.

In the 150cc 4 stoke classes, Annangrove (NSW) local Luke Clout scored top points in the 14 to Under 16 years category, while Victorian Wayde Carter took out the 12 to Under 14 years, with Jordan Hill (NSW) taking top billing in the 9 to Under 12 years.

American import Joey Savatgy found form in the 100-150cc 2 stroke 15 years class, while Queenslander Scott Mann took out the 13 to Under 15 years category.

In the two female classes, Rutledge and New Zealand rider Courtney Duncan continued their domination of their respective categories.

In the 85cc 2 stroke classes, New South Welshman Luke Arnold held onto the lead in the 14 to Under 16 years class, while Carter wrapped up the 12 to Under 14 years class.

Duncan, who has blitzed the Women’s field, managed a staggering third place in the 12 to Under 14 years class against the guys, despite crashing early in the race and starting from the rear of the field.

Sunshine State rider Mitchell Evans took out the 9 to Under 12 years 85cc class, while his State compatriots Wilson Todd and Hunter Lawrence were victorious in their 65cc classes.

NSW rider Rhys Budd won the 7 to Under 9 years 65cc class while Victorian rider Bailey Malkiewicz took out the 50cc Division 2 7 to Under 9 years class.

Finals continue on Thursday with 16 more races set to take place as some riders prepare for their second last day of racing.

The Lake Macquarie Motor Bike Club is located just off Cessnock Road, Awab (near Toronto), and entry for spectators is completely free.
