Ducati Australia has announced the competitive recommended retail price of the new Monster 796 at $15,990 with the added safety, benefit and value of ABS braking system at no additional cost to their customers.

Monster 796 ABS, the “Urban Icon” marks an exciting addition to the Monster line-up, combining the user-friendliness of our 696 with the sports character of the 1100. Delivering 87 horsepower and a dry weight of just 167 kilograms, the stylish new Monster 796 ABS returns the magic of mid-range to the Monster family missing since the S2R800.

“Consistent with the recent repositioning of our RRPs to make our motorcycles even more attractively priced and attainable to our customers, the RRP of the Monster 796 with the no cost inclusion of ABS, normally a $1500 option, makes the new 796 one of the best value premium models in the 800cc Naked category and ideal for all riders,” said Warren Lee, CEO NF Importers.

The Monster 796 ABS is available in three different colour schemes – Ducati Red with Red Frame and Black Wheels with new short style Red flash rim stripe; Arctic White Silk with Red Frame and Black Wheels with new short style Red flash rim stripe; and Black Diamond Silk with Red Frame and Black Wheels with new short style Red flash rim stripe.

Coinciding with the release of the Monster 796 ABS is the second edition of the Monster Art accessory program named ‘Logomania’ making even more colour options for existing Monsters as well as the new attractive 796.

The new options are a stunning tribute to famous Ducati logos and colour schemes that span more than 50 years of authentic brand heritage.
