Kawasaki's 2011 model KX250F has been released to the public this week.

Just days after the successful Australian press launch of the all new 2011 Kawasaki KX250F, Kawasaki is pleased to announce that the 2011 KX450F and KX250F are now available at your nearest Kawasaki dealership with a host of performance enhancing upgrades.

The 2011 KX450F is available at the RRP of $11,699 and the 2011 KX250F is available at the RRP of $10,999.

Built upon a rich championship winning pedigree, the Kawasaki KX450F and KX250F won a stack of awards, magazine shootouts and championship titles around the world in 2010. With a host of changes to both the 2011 KX450F and KX250F, the green bikes look set to continue their dominance of race tracks around the world in the immediate future.

For 2011 there are a number of performance enhancing updates to keep the KX450F at the front of the pack including a new ECU for increased low-mid range performance. The new lighter handling chassis offers increased rear wheel traction and lighter handling while a new FIM approved muffler keeps dB down.

The Kayaba AOS fork with DLC coating features revised settings and the new rear shock absorber with revised settings make the 2011 KX450F even easier to ride fast.

After winning both the East Coast and West Coast AMA Lites Supercross Championships in the USA in 2010 and taking 1-2-3-4 in the 2010 AMA 250 East/West Supercross Shootout in Las Vegas, the all new KX250F receives a host of refinements and upgrades in 2011 including fuel-injection to keep it ahead of the pack.

Amongst other changes, the 2011 KX250F receives new state of the art engineering in the form of (SFF) Separate Function front Fork (used for the first time in a mass produced motocrosser) that is sure to be the hot topic of discussion both at the race track and at other manufacturers’ R&D meetings.

A lighter handling chassis is just one more of the many changes to the 2011 KX250F. The best riders in the world demand a motocrosser that not only boasts the finest engine, chassis and suspension package but one that is also dripping with beautiful factory style finishings.

Kawasaki engineers realised this. Their meticulous attention to detail is evident with premium quality Renthal aluminium handlebars included as standard equipment along with black triple clamps, number plates, engine covers, hubs and wheels on both the 2011 KX450F and KX250F.

Factory style graphics and new grippier seats finish off the package and complement both models stellar on-track performance.
