Monster Energy will be on hand at Queensland Raceway's ASBK round this month.

Monster Energy will be on hand at Queensland Raceway's ASBK round this month.

Monster Energy’s impressive semi-trailer setup, dubbed the ‘Monster Truck’, will create a buzz all weekend long as part of pit paddock attractions at the Queensland Raceway round of the Viking Australian Superbike Championships (ASBK) on 21-22 August 21.

Decked out with its own sound system, DJ booth, bar and VIP viewing areas, the truck spans two storeys and can accommodate over 150 people.

Close to $130,000 worth of stereo equipment and nine plasma screens will create the ultimate entertainment area for race fans to enjoy.

Monster Energy Events & Athlete Sponsorship manager David Ellis said the fully-customised semi would give fans a chance to relax in comfort and style between races.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the Monster Truck to the Queensland Raceway round, it has certainly been popular with motorsport fans at other events around the country and we’re certain two-wheel enthusiasts will enjoy the chance to hang out in style,” said Ellis.

“The packed racing schedule will ensure a busy weekend and fans needing an energy hit will have just the place to go.”

The Monster Truck will add to the atmosphere of the ‘Ultimate Weekend of Motorsport’ which will feature a number of off-track displays alongside a host of hotly-contested racing classes on two and four wheels including premier Superbike and Supersport classes, Aussie Racing Cars, the Australian Supermoto Open, and more.

International Entertainment Group director and promoter of the ASBK Yarrive Konsky said every effort was being made to accommodate fans and make the August event the biggest ever for the series.

“The Monster Truck is an incredible spectacle and will certainly stand out in the paddock,” said Konsky. “We’re excited to have Monster Energy as part of the event and hope that lots of fans get the chance to stop by during the weekend.

“There will be plenty happening throughout the paddock as well as the non-stop race action on track. Fans will get the chance to meet our leading Superbike riders as well as checking out some awesome shows from the leading team in freestyle motocross, Showtime Yamaha.”

Gates open from 8:00am daily to fit a packed schedule of racing featuring over 150 competitors.
