Dirt track racing will invade Parramatta City Raceway next month.

Dirt track racing will invade Parramatta City Raceway next month.

Sunday, 15 August 2010 will mark an important milestone for Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway and the sport of dirt track racing in New South Wales when The Sydney Dirt Bike Spectacular kicks off a series of planned dirt bike racing events at the world-class raceway for the first-time ever.

The Sydney Dirt Bike Spectacular will feature all major senior and junior classes of dirt track racing aboard both two and four-stroke bikes and quads.

Next month’s meeting will be the first of many proposed Sunday race events across the next 12 months – all aimed at returning grass-roots racing to the major stage, showcasing the rapidly growing sport to the masses whilst giving riders the chance to display their skills in front of adrenaline-filled fans.

Fox Sports will be on-hand to present all of the action, which will appear nationally on Fox Sports with a dedicated one-hour highlight program in the following weeks.

This event will be a major step forward for the sport of dirt track racing, opening doors to allow competitors of all ages to take part in meetings at a world class, speedway-style stadium – complete with grandstands and corporate facilities.

All corporate suites will be available for hire during the day’s action with enquiries forwarded to the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway office.

Competitor Enquiries should be directed to the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway office on 02 9637 0411 or [email protected]
