Aprilia launches Sport model in Shiver range

Aprilia has now launched the new Shiver Sport to the naked bike range.

After introducing fresh technology and style to the naked segment in 2008 with the Shiver model, Aprilia has now launched the new Shiver Sport.

A motorcycle that still incorporates the essence of the original Shiver with an innovative engine, Ride by Wire, multi map engine management system and a class leading chassis has now been fitted with a range of new components for extra personality and a more pleasurable ride.

The Shiver Sport features wave brake discs, a narrower seat, windscreen, repositioned and sport styled foot pegs, new handlebars and a new 5.5×17” rear wheel. In addition to these new components the Shiver Sport also features new graphics and a unique colour scheme ensuring that Shiver Sport stands out on any road or race track.

The Shiver Sport features a modular tubular steel frame which is fastened to aluminum side plates for improved handling characteristics making the Aprilia Shiver Sport the perfect choice for any motorcyclist.

The power plant is Aprilia’s proven and grunty 749cc 90° V Twin with double overhead camshaft with a mixed gear/chain timing system and electronic fuel injection. Suspension is top of the line Aprilia sports with an adjustable rear shock absorber and on the front you will find large 43mm upside-down forks.
