Oz MX: MNSW Call To Arms Charity Ride Day cancelled

Motorcycling New South Wales has advised that due to the exceptionally bad weather and heavy rainfall across the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Sydney over the past five days, the MNSW Call To Arms Recreational Charity Ride Day, to be held at Lakes on Saturday, has been cancelled until further notice.

The decision was made yesterday afternoon following a meeting between MNSW and the Lake Macquarie Club in the interest of rider safety, wear and tear on machines and wear on the track itself.

Despite the abandonment of Saturday’s event, MNSW is now working with the Lakes club to finalise another date to hold this unique, fun-filled day, with details to be released later next week.

For the large number of riders who completed an early entry and pre-paid, MNSW has said that it will contact everyone personally to confirm new dates and arrange for either a refund or a transfer of your entry to the proposed new date. Details are set to be finalised and released early next week.

In addition, any rider who did complete an early entry, and would still like to claim their free ticket to Sunday’s round of the MX Nationals at Raymond Terrace, please contact MNSW by phone today to arrange.

To obtain an entry form or for more details about the cancelation, log onto www.motorcycling.com.au or call MNSW on 02 9635 9177.
