Australian Cam Sinclair has officially be offered the opportunity to achieve his ultimate dream via an invite into the 2010 Summer X Games 16 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, on 30 July.

The invite into the X Games ‘Best Trick’ event, is the perfect opportunity for Sinclair to show off his talents on the world stage, in what is the biggest and most decorated action sports event in the world.

The event consists of only eight of the very best Freestyle Motocross riders on the planet, invited to do just two jumps to be scored by the judges individually. The athlete who performs the biggest, most difficult and technical trick wins the converted gold medal.

“I’m so stoked to get invited back to X Games this year, and get a chance to achieve my dream of winning a medal,” Sinclair said. “The X Games is the biggest event in the world for FMX, so to be given a spot is awesome.”

Sinclair was invited to compete in the same event last year, however suffered a serious injury while competing in Madrid, Spain only a week earlier. The accident and missing X Games in 2009 has given Sinclair a new found respect for his now signature trick, the double backflip.

“Since crashing in Madrid last year, I know how serious crashing the double flip can be,” he continued. “I’ll be taking it pretty easy leading up to the event, to make sure I’m 100 percent healthy, but when it comes to X Games I just have to give it everything I have and lay it on the line!”

Fans wishing to see Cam Sinclair perform his incredible double flip in person can do so at the Nitro Circus Live Tour, currently touring Australia’s capital cities.
