Will Davison is Ducati's newest ambassador, riding away on his 1198 S at Ducati City this week.

Will Davison may be in the process of conquering the world of V8 Supercar racing, but his love of motorsports goes beyond four wheels – as he has recently become titled an Ambassador of Ducati in Australia.

Davison picked up his Ducati 1198 S from Ducati City this week, marking an official commencement to his relationship with one of the world’s premium motorcycle brands.

Car racing has been in Will’s blood for generations, with his grandfather Lex Davison winning the Australian Grand Prix four times, and now brother Alex Davison and cousin James Davison also race car drivers with various titles to their names.

Davison has won the 2001 Australian Formula Ford Championship while competing against IndyCar racer Will Power and Leanne Ferrier. In 2007 Davison showed the world that he possessed the talent and speed to be a V8 Supercar champion – winning race two at Eastern Creek Raceway.

During his first full season in a Holden Commodore, Davison teamed up with Garth Tander to win his first Bathurst 1000 in October last year.

Look out for the newest Ducati Ambassador as he embarks on a year full of passion-fuelled professional V8 Supercar racing and leisurely rides on his Ducati 1198 S.
