Racing: International Aussies receive MA Rider Grants

Motorcycling Australia announced that $10,000 in International Rider Grants, has been shared among seven riders competing internationally in the first half of 2010.

The riders, who compete in the disciplines of; Enduro, Moto Trials, Quad Motocross, Road Race and Track, will each receive a share of the $10,000 to go towards their international travel and competition.

This is the fourth year MA has allocated International Rider Grants, and more than 30 applications were received for the grants, highlighting the number of Aussies stepping up to compete on the world stage.

The riders to recieve money from the grant are:
Chris Hollis – World Enduro Championship
Ben Burrell – World Enduro Championship
Robert White – Scottish Six Day Trial
Don Murray – Scottish Six Day Trial
Chris Brenton – AMA ATV Nationals
Adam Treasure – Road Race Sidecar World Championship
Michael Kirkness – AMA Grand Nationals Flat Track Championship
