MotoGP: Telecom Italia renews Ducati Team sponsorship

Ducati Corse has announced that it has renewed the sponsorship agreement that will link Telecom Italia, with its TIM brand, to Ducati for the next three years.

Telecom Italia has been an official sponsor of the Ducati Marlboro Team for seven consecutive years and now that the two companies have signed a three-year renewal of the agreement, TIM, Telecom Italia’s mobile phone brand, will be seen on the fairings of the Desmosedici GP 10 bikes ridden by Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden in the 2010 MotoGP World Championship.

The decision to continue the profitable agreement between the two big Italian brands is testimony to the success of the partnership, initiated in 2004, which has seen Telecom Italia and the Ducati Marlboro Team participate in 103 Grand Prix, with 27 race wins, 32 podiums, 23 pole positions, 1 Riders world title (2007) and 1 Manufacturers world title (2007).

This renewal consolidates the bond between two companies that share such values as the continuous pursuit of excellence, technological leadership and the desire to undertake important challenges. Telecom Italia and Ducati are ready to race towards new goals, both on and off the racetrack.
