Nicky Hayden's 'spy shot' of the 2010 Ducati Desmosedici GP10.

Former 2006 MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden has revealed an image of Ducati’s 2010 MotoGP World Championship contender.

In an image posted from his mobile phone on nickyhayden.com, his official website, Hayden released the world first picture of the Desmosedici that he and Australian Ducati Marlboro Team teammate Casey Stoner will contest next year’s series with.

The bike features a larger air duct in the side of the fairings, believed to be designed to increase the engine life via increased airflow under the new ruling that limits teams to just six engines that can be used next year.

Ducati is set to officially launch the GP10 at the annual Wroom ski event in Italy early in the New Year, the annual event taking place alongside Ferrari’s Formula One team.
