Oz MX: Stadium Motocross set for South Australia next year

South Australia will feature two Stadium Motocross events at th ebeginning of 2010, with Adelaide set to shine thanks to Gilbert Racing.

The first is at the beginning of the year on 9 January at Murray Bridge Speedway Stadium and the second will be hosted on 6 March at Gilman Speedway Stadium for the first time ever.

Track builder Aaron Norris will once again transform both of these venues with the use of over 5000 tone of soil. The track will be specifically designed to challenge the field of riders from juniors, seniors, quads and all featuring some of Australia’s best too.

For Murray Bridge you will see some of the best MX and SX riders in Australia including Robbie Marshall, Brendan Harrison, Sam Duncunson and SA’s very own factory star Luke Arbon. With the talents these guys have plus all our local stars, it’s sure to be action packed and with bar-banging tight racing.

“I really looking forward to racing back in South Australia for a change, as I don’t get to race at home really, only once this year for the MX Nationals,” Arbon said. “Gilby always puts on the best shows and in the past have I raced most and have some wins too. I’m glad some of the other pro guys are going to come over to race as well.”

The action won’t just stop with racing, as you will get to see Robbie Marshall and the rest of the freestyle team in action – with Marshall set to back-flip on the night.
