ASBK: Aussie Racing Cars back for Phillip Island Superbike finale

The Aussie Racing Cars Super Series will be back alongside the bikes for the second time this season after being advertised as a support category for the final ASBK round at Phillip Island on 27-29 November.

After featuring at the Eastern Creek round in August, a round that attracted a large number of spectators, the Aussie Racers will be back once again to wrap up the season in a round set to be highlighted by the Superbike championship battle.

Aussie Racing Cars have been added to the schedule and were advertised in the official MotoGP calendar at Phillip Island last weekend as a support class, although the round is not yet featured on the Aussie Racing Cars’ official calendar on its website.

The final round of the ASBK series will be contested for the title between current champion and series leader Glenn Allerton, sensational rookie wonder Josh Waters, and the in-form Wayne Maxwell, with just three points separating the trio with two races left to run.

More information on the event is available at www.asbk.com.au, the official ASBK series website.
