Australian Scott Charlton will compete at the ninth round of the AMA Superbike Championship this weekend at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas.

Charlton will ride a Suzuki GSX-R1000 for Aussie Dave Racing in place of regular rider and team owner David Anthony, who suffered a broken leg at the most recent round at Mid-Ohio.

The weekend will mark the first time that the series has visited Topeka, with promoter practice taking place on Thursday before the full weekend of racing action kicks off today.
