FMX: Sinclair seriously injured in Madrid Red Bull X-Fighters

Australia’s Freestyle Motocross sensation Cam Sinclair has been seriously injured at the Spanish round of the Red Bull X-Fighters at Madrid over the weekend after under-rotating a double backflip.

The Victorian suffered a ruptured liver, broken shoulder, broken cheek bone and was knocked unconscious in the scary incident, undergoing emergency surgery due to internal bleeding from his liver injury.

Red Bull has flown his mother and brother over to be by his bedside, along with close friend and manager Adam Bailey. Sincs has also had fiancée Brooke with him since the crash.

In other news from the X-Fighters event, Australian Robbie Maddison finished the competition with a victory in the Best Trick competition on Friday night before finishing third in the overall competition on Saturday. Maddo remained in Spain after the event in support of Sinclair.
