HONDA AUSTRALIA:

Honda is very pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative aimed at assisting job seekers.

A “Careers at Honda Dealerships” board has been launched in the main employment section of the Honda website (www.hondampe.com.au The Waiting Room movie

), featuring available positions within dealerships nationally.

According to Victor Colcott, Honda Australia’s General Manager, Customer Service, the company was keen to find a simple solution to connect dealers with potential employees.

“The feedback we are getting is that it has been difficult to find qualified technicians within the motorcycle and small engine industries, and to retain them long term.”

“Through the provision of the new Job Board, we hope to help our dealers to source qualified potential employees, as well as increase the opportunities for job seekers to gain employment with a world leader in engine manufacturing.”

Although the site has been developed with the recruitment of technicians in mind, jobs are also posted for other positions within dealerships including apprentices, parts, sales, marketing and administration.

The new website acts as a reference tool by providing an email address for a contact at the dealership who can then provide more information such as a position description, deadline for application, qualifications required, etc.

Potential employees can find jobs by going to the “Careers at Dealerships” in the “About Honda” menu on the Honda website.
