It’s been a rough championship defence so far for Pitt, the Ten Kate Honda rider beginning his season well with second place finishes at Phillip Island and Qatar before suffering from a spate of bad luck that has seen him drop to sixth in the points chase.
Despite his troubles, Pitt is focussed on finishing out the year in good fashion, hoping to clock up some race victories and put the fight to series newcomers Cal Crutchlow and Eugene Laverty.
