AMA SBK: Mladin to race Oran Park 6-Hour in Australia

Former Australian and six-times AMA Superbike Champion Mat Mladin is set to compete in the Oran Park 6-Hour to be staged in New South Wales on 21-22 November, according to the race’s official website at www.the6hour.com.au Kung fu dvdrip .

Run by race promoter James Spence, the 6-Hour will be the last ever motorcycle road race meeting at the historic Oran Park circuit before it’s closed to make way for housing developments, with the meeting intended to capture the history of the venue and also relive the 6-Hour glory days from the 1970s and ’80s.

Spence and Mladin were most recently connected in a bid for the Australian Superbike Championship promotional duties in 2009, and the addition of Mladin the the 6-Hour race is a coup for the event.

Another rider that the website has confirmed is Australia’s World Endurance specialist Damian Cudlin, who also competes in the AMA Daytona SportBike category, while sources suggest that a number of leading Australian Superbike riders are also looking to compete in the event.
