FMX: Hart and Huntington tour set for Brisbane on Saturday

Hart and Huntington Tour PR:

P!NK’s Brisbane concert on Saturday June 13 will pack some extra punch when her husband, freestyle motocross (FMX) legend Carey Hart headlines his own free action sports event from 1pm-4pm in the Brisbane Entertainment Centre carpark.

The Hart and Huntington Tour presented by Holden will make its fourth stop alongside the singer’s Funhouse tour, showcasing FMX, stunt and mini bike demonstrations plus the latest in street and tattoo art, a multi-million dollar motorcycle and hot rod collection and much more.

The tour has attracted fans of all ages in its first three shows, eager to see Hart and fellow FMX sensations Robbie Marshall and Matty McFerran pull off some of the craziest tricks in their arsenal.

Hart said he was pleased to bring the event to Brisbane and couldn’t wait to catch up with his Queensland fans.

“The first three legs of the tour have been amazing and it has been great to see so many FMX and P!NK fans come together for my event which is at absolutely no cost,” Hart said.

“We both love Australians and Australia as a whole has supported us both throughout our careers.

“The Hart and Huntington Tour is the first time I have performed outside the US for over six years and it is the very first time that P!NK and I have teamed up on a joint project of this magnitude.”

While the FMX demonstration will take centre stage, Australia’s leading mini bike team and a renowned street bike stunt performer will be sure to whip crowds into a frenzy.

The Brown’s Grafix Mini Bike squad will hit their own ramp setup, pulling off a seemingly impossible display of moves on miniature 50cc motorcycles.

The Harley-Davidson-mounted Hollywood stunt star Matt Mingay will up the power on his custom machine, performing an array of stoppies, wheelies and burnouts for fans.

Lining the arena precinct will be a jaw-dropping display of the coolest custom cars and motorcycles, dripping with chrome and detailed with exotic paints and artwork.

Also on show are a variety of local artists creating live pieces that celebrate the laid-back So-Cal lifestyle, plus various tattoo art displays and and fashion parades.

“Overall we have designed the show so there is something there for everybody – there are bikes, car, music and fashion.  It is a great day out for the whole family,” Hart added.

The final leg of the Hart and Huntington Tour will be held on Saturday June 20, 2009 at Parklands Showground on the Gold Coast.
