EXPO FAN TAKES HOME HONDA CRF250R

Honda Australia press release:

The winner of the $15,000 Honda Voucher promotion held in conjunction with the 2008/9 Australian Motorcycle Expos has been drawn, with 15-year-old Daniel Notley-Cole from the Gold Coast unable to believe his luck when his entry was announced.

“When I got the call saying that I’d won, I thought it was my Dad playing a prank on me!” said Daniel.

“When we first got to the stand they’d just run out of tickets, so I’m glad we waited.”

Daniel and his father Wayne picked up a black limited edition CRF250R, complete with accessories from Team Moto Dealer in Nerang, Queensland, after their entry was drawn at the close of the Gold Coast Show.

“I’ve barely gotten off the bike since I got it; I’ve been riding every day!” said Daniel.

“My Dad and I joined the Reedy Creek motocross club two weeks before the expo, and my last bike had just broken down for the third time in three months. This came at the perfect time!”

As well as the CRF250R, Daniel spent his voucher on a Moriwaki exhaust system, five Honda shirts, two Woodstock Thor race hoodies, a race team jacket, socks, a premium Honda watch, backpack, gear bag, oil packs, two radiator guards, skid plate and two case savers – one for his friend.

“I’m so stoked with the prize; I still can’t believe how wicked the CRF looks and rides. It sounds so sweet! It’s awesome I’ve got all the gear to match too.”

“My mates didn’t believe me when I first told them, now they’re pretty jealous. Most of them ride motocross on Hondas, and now I’ll finally be able to keep up with them!”

Daniel lives on a twelve acre property with great trails and hills for him to ride. “The Honda will be perfect for Daniel to learn on. He’s wanted to get into enduro riding for a while, so we’ll be able to go riding together now,” said Wayne, Daniel’s dad.
