KAWASAKI ON TRACK FOR OZ MX OPENER

Kawasaki press release:

The preparations are done, the riders are fit and prepared and the KRT truck is packed.

Twelve time Australian Champion Craig Anderson, defending MX Lites Champion Luke George, and the quick young rookie Luke Arbon, are ready to unleash months of built up
determination and focused energy plus countless practice track hours at the opening round of the 2009 Australian Motocross Championships at Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club this
weekend, 4-5 April.
Will they be competitive? Craig Anderson is 100% injury free and riding as fl uid and fast as he ever has. Luke George has only added to his 2008 Championship winning pace on board
the all new ’09 KX250F while Under 19’s rider, Luke Arbon is showing astonishing speed for somebody so green (pun intended).
KRT Manager Brett Whale says, “The whole team is chomping at the bit, waiting for this weekend to arrive. We realistically have a good chance at winning all three Motocross Titles
in 2009 and that is the goal that we’re all working hard to make a reality.”

“We’re very happy to have Castrol on board with us this year, their oils and lubricants are world class and we’re excited to be going into our second year with McLeod Accessories. Their new ’09 No Fear riding gear looks awesome. We’re also pumped to have Michelin’s support again in ’09. We believe our KRT motorcycles will be arguably the very best motorcycles to line up at Albury this weekend and that all counts for nothing unless we’re competing on the very best tyres available and Michelin have proved already to us, in the form of a Championship win, that they are the best.”

“As for the 3 riders, they’re ready! What more can I say?”
